DIORAMA IN CARVED CORK SIGNED G.BARRERE SOLD

Large Diorama  in cut and carved cork glued on a watercolor background. It represents the Orangery of the Palace of Versailles. This painting is signed by Gaston Barrère who was one of the best workers in France, he figured at the exhibition of work in Paris in 1928 where he received the highest award with congratulations from the jury, as evidenced by the label affixed to the back of the painting.
